Me doing a nice Timpani Solo, "Raga No. 2" by Bill Cahn. After the first minute through the roll section, it really picks up.

  • So, you just improved my grade on a music test.

  • @NickaElizabeth Nice, I think. How so?

  • Nice man! Hey what level is this?

  • @babyboy478 What do you mean. I'd figure it's at least a 5 on the 1-6 scale, but I really don't know. I played it Junior Year of high school and at my senior recital at the University of Maryland. I've been told it's a good Senior/Graduate level piece when played the right way.

  • I don't get why there are so many hater comments. I thought it was really good.

  • @tenniscrazy2 thanks

  • Your rolls are VERY staccato and kind of...yuck. Maybe its the mallets or the camera but I think you were playing way to close to the edge at the beginning.

  • Use some softer mallets on the roll section. I'm not going to lie, I heard a lot of rims. Focus on being even when moving around and work on your fundamental sound quality.

  • @fcmilsweeper9 & @phantomregiment1227 .........

    shut up.

  • Dude, you had a captive audience at the beginning, and you captivated them by the end. WELL DONE!. The great part about percussion is breaking the rules, then convincing the rest of the population you're correct. You accomplished that. Outstanding.

  • my favorite part starts at 4:19

  • @tenniscrazy2 I see, there are so many hater comments, but there are many human to thumbs up this video.

  • @setnewer yea because racism is a good way to get respect, kiddie >_>

  • @maddmatt361 8th grade is pretty ridiculous. I did the Honor Orchestra of America which is the Orchestra version of what you're talking about. It was a really cool experience.

  • nigger

  • for so many rolls he sure is using the wrong type of mallets...only professional performers can truly use articulation mallets like those and pull off good non choppy rolls.
