My emulator records internally.

It plays in slow-motion, but as you can see it turns out great. Hell, it'd be damn near perfect if it weren't for Youtube's habit of fuzzing up footage when there's a lot of colour involved.

The idea is kinda silly.

Eggman: Haha Sonic! I have captured the Winter Spirits so there can be no snow! Haha! It wasn't Global Warming! It was me! And now Bowser & I can take over the world unless you.......beat us at a snowboarding race! HAHAHAAHAH!

Though, Mario games do tend to have a weak story.

Seriously, couldn't Robotnik just blow Sonic & Mario up with one of his machines?

The Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi series beg to differ.

Then again, if you class this as a Mario RPG, you'd be right about the platformers (Galaxy's was nice, though).
