Riot in Varanasi India, and a Girl with a bottle

Witness a mini riot in India as a temple is forced down by diggers.
The Shiva Temple was built on private land near the holy Ganges River at Assi Ghat, Varanasi, (UP) India.
The land is owned by a wealthy hotel owner who plans to build a hotel there, so wealthy westerners and Israelis can watch the Ganges and have life experiences.
Not surprisingly the locals are upset.
See the armed police throw stones back at protesters.
The film starts with a balancing act by a very multi jointed young lady seranaded by her drum playing brother.
The film ends with a visit to the Varanasi Jugganeth Temple, just up the road from Assi Ghat.

It seems every one posting comments are not from Varanasi. I pity these people's ignorance. The event recorded is not at all a communal riot. It was a demolition drive by city administration to get rid of unauthorised occupants from government land.

Please, if you don't understand India, refrain from making any sweeping remarks. You people stink.

I really don't understand what is wrong with Youtube today but every time I try to search for videos on places to see when in India I keep being directed to videos of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final Vancouver rioting, like what gives?

It saddens me without end to see the poor get railroaded by the better off for their own ideas of what is correct. Temples are usually built in chosen places with relevant energies and I hate to see such structures coming down in such a brutal fashion. Interesting pictures at the end - looked almost alien! As of now the hotel (actually a restaurant) has been built with a few shops/internet cafe on ground floor, the street leading to assi is quite narrow..
