Viva La Judy

I heard this song from Coldplay, and with the references to crowds and ruling the world, how could I not think of Judy? :P

Composed of candid photos and footage of Garland in concert, radio performances, and backstage, as well as clips from her 1963 television show.

I do not own anything. This isn't an attempt at copyright infringement, just a tribute to my hero. :P

Meg, this video and song matched is nothing less than perfect. This video placed a singular thought in my head, "I love her to pieces." It's a simple thought yet powerful; extremely hard to express. This video is of the golden form of expression. I love it and her.

This video is one of the most touching where the words and the music fit the Greatest Entertainer the World will ever have! If you doubt God's existance, just watch a Judy performance and witness the greatest singing voice in human history. Eventhough it is COLDPLAY is singing, The clips of Judy are what makes this whole clip amazing. What singer can do that, other than our JUDY!

@vintageoddity This video fits perfectly hits the mark! This has to be the best tribute to Garland on the internet. I just re-read two Books on Garland's life one was the Gerald Clarke, "Get Happy" which I didn't like. Most of his info was taken from other bios on her. The 2nd was Gerald Frank's released in 1975 called "Judy" Which was amazing. His was the only book endorsed by Judy's entire family & close friends. He also met Judy in person to talk about her Bio. I heard this same song the other day connected to a clip someone posted with scenes from the Young and The Restless and its main Character Victor Newman and it didn't fit liek it does with these clips of Judy Garland and her career. This has to be the best tribute to the Great Judy Garland that I have yet to see on Youtube and there are many out there, but This is my all time favorite.

@MrKingsRow Yes I stumbled upon it a few days ago and the clips and the word and music go so well together especially the clip early on of Judy during the Born in a Trunk segment when she told the Grace Kelly Oscar story and in the clip they show her singind the man that got away and it went perfectly with ColdPlay's lyrics... Glad u liked it.. Hope your summer is good.. I leave for nyc thursday aug 19th for a few weeks..
