Breath of Fire II - Retranslation

This is the long-awaited English release of d4s' Breath of Fire II translation/enhancement patch by Ryusui. It's been more than two-and-a-half years in the making and is a massive improvement to the original game.

Changes include:
- A completely new animated intro with vocal audio track and stunning graphics.
- Various graphical in-game improvements making extensive use of the SNES' capabilities.
- Several bug fixes to the original game
- Various game-play improvements such as the added ability to run in towns and on the Overworld map.
- A totally retranslated script.

i've always liked this game but hated the translation...i just added the rom but for some reason i can't get it to work on my mac

@vanchai1: It should work on the Breath of Fire II (U) [!] rom. If not, you might try to google a tool for macs that removes the header, and then try patching it again.

I don't know why an anime or manga haven't been made yet for this game. There's a manga for BoF 4, but I like the story to BoF 2 much more.

Playing this on an actual SNES using the SNES Powerpak is a real treat. Lol.

Wow, Ryuusui actually went with my suggestion for the feline-human's name, "Lin Pu"? I didn't think he would =) That intro d4s added was ridiculous.
