My Truck after Cam replacement

This is after the cam replacement, yes it's the same engine as the old one just painted gray, and i had to get a valve job done the heads and the belt no longer squeals.

  • What kind of cam did you put in it, I'm looking to get the same cam for mine, I have the same problem..no thump and when in drive is it brought out even more or no? Thanks, outlawsrodandKustom

  • @outlawsrodandKustom It's a Lunati, Voodoo Hydraulic flat tappet cam 256/262. but I recommend running at least 10.5:1 compression before using this cam, and heavier valve springs.

  • I'm not quite sure, but i think it's about 250+ hp but i know it's less than 310 hp

  • I have a 55 Chevy truck with 3/4 racing cam, wish I knew how to exchange out, I want a better one in it. Yours sounds great.
