i have a question, about the bracelet (?) around his ankle - is that amber? i know people use them for teething, in fact i'm really wanting to get one for my son, but i was wondering if there was a reason it is on his ankle? just curious! i find them so interesting.

Yes, it is an amber anklet. It is for smaller babies that can't have a necklace on. Hes 6 months old now and has a amber necklace on now :)

I have about 100 diapers left over from my daughter, but am expecting a son in one month, and our smallest diapers are the orange edge prefolds (in the old sizing). Is there a fold you prefer to use for your boy? I hear some moms say they can only use certain folds with boys, and others say it doesn't matter. With my daughter I basically did a jelly roll fold only in the leg area. She was ALWAYS too big in the waist for an angel wing or twist.

Umm, well we liked the angle wing fold. We're elimination communicating with him now so we don't really do much other then trifolding :)

Hi! I'm pregnant w/ number 2 and considering cd'ing this time around, since I'm blessed to be able to SAH with this baby. I was wondering whether it's better to use AOI (as a friend does) or pre-folds and covers. I'm leaning toward pre-folds and covers. Great video, but PLEASE secure your changing pad to the changing table. :) It made my heart skip when it slipped on ya!

aww your kids are adorable. i'm switching my 21 month son to cloth. (better late than never i guess.) I was looking for an opinion of the thirsties cuz i do not like the prowraps on him. he says owie and wont let me put them on him! i think the edging is rough. then again i am just folding it into thirds. i need a snappi i think. :/
