I didn't watch TV at all for over a year after they cancelled Gunsmoke.
It had been part of my life since my Grandpa & I listened to it together
on radio in the 1950s. Never been a show like it since.

Gunsmoke is really special to me, it brings back great memories of watching
Gunsmoke on Saturday night back in the 50's with my family, especially my dad,
now I watch it on Western channel and TVland. I was very sad to hear of Mr.
Arness passing, he was great!!!

What a GIANT OF A MAN!! They do not make them like James Arness anymore. Our world is less without him. Thanks for the tv legends on Marshal Matt Dillon!!

People used to use their imaginations. We all knew what was going on between Matt and Kitty. Hell, the whole town knew. It was a complicated affair. But, with respect I give my thoughts and prayers to the cast of Gunsmoke. They were my childhood. They were clean, decent, and respectful. After all these years. You all are mssed.
