In 2005, Governor Phil Bredesen of Tennessee instituted the single largest Medicaid cuts in history. This is a 3-minute trailer (the 25-minute film is available from Talking Eyes Media) that examines the unconscionable suffering caused by the TennCare cuts and the implications nationally for public health programs.
I live in Chattanooga, we have more people from Georgia on TennCare than Tennesseans. Tennessee is surrounded by eight states, I am sure the same thing goes on around the State. Just give your Mothers address.

The U.S. Govt. wants to decrease 80% of the World population. This is just one of the ways. So sad!!

I'm sad that I probably won't have a chance to see this here in Greece. It looks very provocative.

I am so glad to see someone finally comment on this film! Isn't it excellent? I've seen it, and look forward to the Nashville premiere on April 26 at the Belcourt Theatre.
And Physco, let's hope and pray come the next election, we'll elect a President who will actually give more than lip service to universal health care.

Saw the entire thing last night, very shocking, very true, very sad. We are a first wold nation and we can't afford to help those who really need it.
