Started this project some time ago, wanted to do some major updates on my old Gpz, had a second frame which i could use for this, got a zzr1100 frontfork, top and bottom yoke from a zrx, frontbrakes are from a suzuki gsx 1000, rear shock from a zzr1400, wheels are zzr1100, rear swingarm also zzr1100, just finished fixing the new mounting points for the rear shock, its 2 cm longer then the original, so there were some adjustments to be made, the longer shock also caused a small problem with the battery compartment, fixed this to, next im going to strip the frame, take it to a friend of mine, who will do the finishing welding on the rear shock mounting points, then sandblast the frame and repaint it, frontwheel wil be polished and repainted, also the frontforklegs need some new paint, planning to remove the engine coming winter, its in good condition but also needs to be painted, the original exhausts are going to be replaced by a 4-1, perhaps a Harris or Marving, the progress will be seen in part 2, thank you for watching.
Thank you, i have always been a big fan of the big aircooled kawasaki's, this bike i bought for 625 euro's, with only 18.000 miles. Back in the days i owned a 1100 elr, never should have sold it, but this is a good replacement, since prices for elr's are skyhigh.
