For some reason, adults tend to leave their "traces" in animated films....(ie. Toy Story:Mr.Patato Head calls Woody a kiss ass by taking his lips and smaking them on his butt, or the Black Couldren when the witch turns the bard into a frog, and it gets stuck between her tits)

@DarkDragon4x4 Actually Schmendrick could see her. It is more obvious in the novel, as Mommy Fortuna notices that he is lying about seeing a mare rather than a unicorn. (From his hesitation to answer)
