Yodok Story Trailer

This is the official trailer for Yoduk Story, a musical about the infamous Yoduk Prison Camp, located in the mountains of North Korea. The story revolves around a female inmate and a prison guard, all the while revealing the atrocities of the prison camp through song and dance. The musical is set to run in Washington D.C. from October 4th-6th, and in LA on Oct. 19th-22nd.

Why its so quiet about that musical? 2369 views from september 2006? Such production and its background should know whole world!!!!!! Such unbelievable tragic stories takes place even now in North Korea:(

I saw the documentary about Yodok, for not a long time ago. And it was so sad I almost wanted to sit down and cry. Because it is so horrible what the prisoners are going through. But the movie was also a wake-up call. I live in Norway, and are living close to luxury compared to what a normal citizen i North-Korea does.

I really understand how serious it is. Something I wouldn't have done without watching that documentary.

The musical was amazing...I watched it 3 years ago and I still remember the chills that I had while watching it. It was horrifying and beautiful at the same time. If you don't cry watching it, your heart aches.

North Korea is not even a communist nation. It's more like Imperial nation. If you want to know which country is defined as communist, look at CUBA. Castro doesn't even have 1 million dollar in his account. He eats regularly, just like every other people, unlike Kim Jong il, who eats rations and meals worth 3-5k a day while his citizens are starving to death.
