I do a different alg which is really slow, I might switch to your alg.

i means inverted (it's the same as ' ) so Ri is the same as R'. x and y mean turning the whole cube a certain way

@iasimp1997 Who cares, I prefer prime to i

Hakan, I think you mean lower right corner... Though it depends what you mean by upper right. I'd just say it's pointing to your right shoulder (the 2x2x1 block)

Good video, but, r i f r f i r u r i f r i f r u2 r u2 r. Not only is the "i" notation incorrect, it can sometimes be hard to follow ( I can solve the 3x3 in 30 seconds or less I was just saying for some people learning this PLL algorithm) because the standard is "prime" as it is in mathmatics and you don't really enunciate fully so that it's distinguishable from the original letter. Good video though!

those are double layer turns, as in you turn the middle layer along with it. So a "r" would mean do an R, but take the middle layer with it.
There are rotations, x y and z. the rotate the whole cube as if doing and R, U, or F, respectively. So an "x" would be like doing and R to that whole cube, which would make the down face the front face on the cube.

so... i have a question what are "r" ,"d","x","i" in the 3x3x3 cube.. i have heard
"r","u",etc. for the 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 cube... in 3x3x3 i know only R,L,U,D,F,B so pls explain me what the other letters mean...
