Won't work if you go to CFL bulbs - the ballast in the compact flourescent blocks the signals - you need on/off only with an appliance module, or use a non-load switch like the WS13A for in box switch replacement - but CFL won't dim just on and off. Otherwise X10 stuff isnt too bad unless you have a lot of powerline noise or nearby RF interference (the sticky switch module uses RF to comm with the plug in transciever that has the antenna)
