@Tneal78 It's not that hard to "get". I'm assuming what you mean is that you wish atheists will go to the middle east and, by extension, be killed by the religious fanatics there.

As far as I've read about religions - or at least religions in westernized countries - most gods do not take kindly to wishing for another person's, or a group of people's, deaths.

If you are from one of these religions, I would say you should be ashamed for your hypocrisy.

@melikeymakemusic: Actually it's a very well known fact that almost every Nobel Prize winner is atheist or agnostic. I believe in Dawkins' God Delusion he mentions there is only 1 NP winner that is theist.

The prison statistics are accurate as well.

@TheGamestar19 Having said that, I am not saying there isn't a God, there very well could be. But the religions don't have it right. However I'd suggest to leave the science to the scientists, because most religious people don't do so well in debating it. I understand science is complicated and hard to understand sometimes. But the world is complicated, that's why we created gods, to explain that complication. Science just uses a method to do so. Not everyone has to understand it, just trust it.

@TheGamestar19 The law of conservation of matter shows that all matter in the universe (as far as we know) has always existed. The amount doesn't change. It's the form that changes. If it has always existed, there does not need to be a time where it was "created". You think of God the same way. He has to have always existed right? What created God if not? It's the same argument, except science has actual evidence...

@essenceofmex Your experience is a bit different from mine. It's closer to 85% of the time that the atheist is more knowledgeable, and about 70% of the time the theist shoots themself in the foot from sheer stupidity, or contradictions. Mind you I'm usualy added into that statistic, and arguing against preists.

@TheGamestar19 wow. If you want to "counter" an argument that you know nothing about, go study it and systematically find its flaws, not just spewing stuff you were told by your local evolutionary biology expert, your pastor and your bible.

One thing i have always noticed when debating. When atheists argue about the invalidity of religion, 99% of the time, they know how that religion works better than the person arguing for it. 99% of the time believers argue about something, 100% clueless.
