Cobra zero to 100

My cobra on a run to 100mph. Installed the MGW and it made a huge difference. This video is taken at 4000ft in 90 degree weather at night. The car still does zero-60 in right around 5 seconds. Stock GTO's (not the 350hp ones either) run mid 14's in this area, I run mid 13's. I know many people wonder why my car is slow compared to what they think it should run, its called altitude and heat. Learn what you are talking about before you post garbage.

*Update* Steig ported blower, 2.76 upper pulley, ATS tune, JLT high boost intake, bassani X and catback, and other supporting mods. The altitude change to 900ft helps out a lot too. It's a way different car now.

LS2 GTO runs a 13.4 1/4 stock. 0-60 in 4.7. So your numbers a little off there.

El Paso Texas, 4000ft and 90 degrees, they won't run mid 13's. At an altitude closer to sea level they will run mid 13's. It takes about 1 second off your quarter mile time in those conditions.

If you do the altitude correction on the times it would have, but it won't run that fast at 4000ft.

@xilix you missed the whole point of my comment i was trying to explain how altitude has an effect on a cars performance.... the 97 to 03 gtp was quick for its time and for the money and could be made really quick for what it is with a few bolt ons. yeah a bentley or amg merc or cts v is faster but your spending huge amounts of money. the gtp was 27k new.

@GPGTPDriver Even for a 4 door sedan, 14.9 is not quick, not this day and age. It's completely average. A Subaru Forester, Toyota Camry and Buick Regal all do it in 14.9. The Regal is actually 2 tenths faster at 14.7. So no, that is not quick for what it is, it is AVERAGE for what it is. Quick for a 4 door sedan would be anywhere from mid to low 13's. Fast for a 4 door sedan is CTSV, AMG, Bentley type shit ect ect.. A GTP is SUBJECTIVELY quick TO YOU, not to the rest of the experienced world.

@VerzGP i drive a GTP and i can tell you that it is quick for what it is ... a 4 door sedan... at sea level a stock cobra will run 12.8. a GTP runs 14.9 stock. if you took the time to read the description youll c that he is at 4000 ft. cars wont run as fast as they do at sea level at that high elevation. if you drive a gtp upto 4000 feet it will be as proportionally slow as this cobra is.
