As i recently became an AG brewer - all of my equipment is "beginner all grain" friendly.. i thought this would be a good time to demonstrate what i'm using and how it was actualy fairly cheap to make the jump to AG.

  • I sparge in about 20 minutes. The mash is what takes the time. I agree that BIAB is a great way to get into All Grain. You can make, and I have, a mash tun for around $10.00 USD that will work for beers up to around 1.050 OG. Great vid.

  • @manosaxy yes, i keep contemplating whether i should build a mash tun or not..... the fact is i'm pretty happy with the results i'm getting right now, so for now i will keep doing BIAB... but i feel like I just havn't done it all until I get a mash tun... we'll see... in time...

  • @Gabonthetube Stay on course with BIAB. I'm a BIAB convert from 3-vessel. It's more work, time and a whole lot more money to do 3V just to get the same beer. 3V is not a step-up from BIAB. You get the exact same product for less time, less cleaning and WAY LESS money (Thousands). Some say the efficiency is even better with BIAB. Check out BIABrewer dot info. It is a Paradigm-shift experience!
