Teresa Brewer - Molasses, Molasses (It's Icky Sticky Goo) (1950)

One of several competing versions of this song out at the time, Teresa's recording did not chart and was the third one released (in October 1950). The second one by Roberta Quinlan and the Jan August Orchestra did chart (at Billboard #30). The original version by Lenny Carson and the Whiz Kids also did not chart.

Original Billboard review: "Thrush's little girl approach is well-suited to this flash novelty, but lacking the gimmicks of two earlier versions, doesn't figure to lead."

B-side is "Grizzly Bear".
