Here is the same 5 plate Hydrogen Fuel cell in a GE water filter from Home Depot. I PVC glued the unit to avoid gas leaks and have a fill valve on top.

  • Please call these things hydrogen generators, not fuel cells. I am specifically (like many others) looking for a way to generate electricity from hydrogen. When I need a hydrogen electrolizer or generator, I would search for that, not fuel cell.

  • pffft not boring at all. Very interesting to watch and a pretty good idea. How much did you spend in total to get this fuel cell operational?

  • but what are your results? did you take a recording of your milage regularly before the fuel cell install? did you make the same measurements afterwards? i understand many people put these installations into their cars and see no significant difference in milage.

  • are you running it off your alternator?

  • Filter canister. That's a good idea. It should make it nice and robust.

  • I agreed with you...

They are suppose to call it as Hydroxy gas.

HHO are not a good name...

    LOL!!

  • ignor last post lol

  • take into account actual current draw and multiply that with the voltage to give you watts being used eg 13.8V X 10A = 138 watts which would be like driving around with your headlights on high beam all the time, don't forget your altinator replenishes all this power
