I was at that race (the only race I saw Richard win in person

first time the past champ's provisional was used and it all was because of Richard Petty is why the rule exists today which I think is right.

I got a GOOD view of the #88 car's spin off turn 2 at about 3:25...I was in the "pit crew" for Bobby Wawak (I did the lettering and numbers on his cars back then and got to be in the pits)...I'm one of the guys in the yellow shirts at the left of the screen.
Just found out last week that Bobby passed away in 2004 so makes this vid more special.
