Ling's English VA is ironically superb. The dub towers over the original japanese man, its great!

When I was younger I might have bought the "emotions r more clear" lulz from sub people. But I read about the director of Cowboy Bebop, Shinichiro Watanabe, himself admitting that the english dub sounded better, and I think most of the English-speaking crowd can agree. Just saying it portrays emotions better in a language one does not comprehend, to me, that just sounds ridiculous to me. Or maybe I'm wrong - maybe you are a native/fluent Japanese speaker?

@nickoking, they attempt. Saying the original is better due to "higher quality and more believable job portraying emotions"? Funny how that's what every "sub-only" person tells me and they leave it at that. That's solely an opinion, an interpretation, and that reduces everything else to a fallacy you bastard. Don't take this personally, but telling me it "portrays emotions better" when you're reading text at the bottom of a screen and probably don't understand the language fails to convince -_-
