@staniel74 Not too into Barber's shredding edge. The thing that always put the Biscuits ahead of the pack for me was their guitar player being more interested in the perfect phrasing for a 3-note riff repeated over 10 minutes instead of being a rock god. Though I agree that they're unquestionably better now, I wish Barber would embrace minimalism and ditch that new compression/distortion thats ruining 2010.

This is when Camp Bisco was when a group of us would get together for the show. Bisco was a state of musical bliss with your companions that you'd see each show. Never needed a ticket ahead of time. 5-10 bucks tops. They were so raw and driven. This is my favorite Barber era. I think the band is better now but Barber has lost his shredding edge. When he'd find his groove he was a machine gun out there. With an ear for classical composition and an edge for psychedelic shred.
