I like your song Matt and I fully understand, appreciate and welcome the build, but you are losing your notes in the stronger chorus, so it doesn't suit your voice, or you need some help with that/voice training. In the meantime, perhaps try to use some less piercing, more round vowels? Or stick to your soft voice which as you will know is in tune :-). Maybe also your position, perched on the edge of the bath doesn't help? Lovely bathroom. Is it cold in there, bless you?
