  • @MarkHansonMr No, it's the same carol, this is given a slightly different arrangement. I assume you are referring to "Gabriel's Message" done by Sting on the "A Very Specal Christmas" compilation.

  • errrr.... this is" Gabriel's Message" The Angel Gabriel is a different Carol

  • Great vocals, guys! Definitely goose bump making!

  • It would be difficult to find a better conductor, clinician or just straight up nicer person than Dr. Aspaas.

  • They look like the crowd at an indie rock concert (nothing wrong with that) yet they sing amazingly. Superb arrangement as well. Big up respect to the St Olaf Viking Chorus!

  • Dear God. Someone fit those robes to those boys...

  • How can a motley crew sing such heavenly music? I guess the same reason angels can appear to shepherds in a field watching their flocks by night.

  • We've been listening to this in our music class, and I absolutely adore it. Thanks for posting!

  • haha , i just love how some of these guys are just swaying back and forth (: you are AMAZING (:

  • @speaks3703 Viking Chorus performed from a manuscript copy; their director, Dr. Christopher Aspaas, is the writer of the arrangement. You may be able to contact him or the college directly to secure a copy. It may have been published since.
