  • I think nickel can provides you a warmer sound, more calibrated cause your bass have already a lot of high and brightness, but nickelplated haven't long life.

An other ask: the Sadowsky humcancelling is inside of the pre outboard or is another pedal?

    thanks. good job!

    Steve.

  • I know.

The sadowsky humcancelling pickups are in my bass.

  • Hi Terry! I'm seing your progress on line every video! Compliments! An ask : The blue Label Sadowsky strings you use are nickelplated or stainless??

    Thanks.

    Steve.

  • Stainless.

Im getting the nickel soon though.

  • Hi Terry, I write yo from Madrid, Spain... your sound is awesome, I play the bass too, but I want to play slap like youuu! :-) give me some advices to start to play slap and achieve a great sound. Thank youuu! and you have a friend here.

  • Hi black.

Thanks for the compliment. For me the most important thing to play slap is to train your ear as much as you can. What you play is based on what you've heard. So listening gives alot of ideas to your playing.

And also practice the basics. Most people concerned about triplet, fast slap and all those. I realized that the more i practice some basics the more im getting fluent into slaps.

    Goodluck. And thanks alot ;)

  • I'm sorry I can terrykumar by chance to the tabs?

  • scusami mi puoi per caso dare le tab?

  • I don't think I have to tell you how good this sounds.

  • I love your improv. It is catchy, funny and interesting. Like your other improvs on here. :) (That of course is all a compliment. LOL)

  • hey terry, your playing is cool. i prefer the funk methods over all others. this is totally my style and its the nicest technique to just play along i guess.

i bought the exact same bass just yesterday. i played an LTD by ESP B-50. was just cheap but ok. and this one is just awesome. just curiousity:

why did you exchange the pick-ups. i got mine with duncan designed pickups. that blew me away, it was another good reason to take the bass and prefer it over another squier jazz-bass. regards!
