I've never had anything from Allagash. I find it a little pretentious when American breweries only do Belgian-style beers.

Sure, a lot of their stuff is good but it tends to be really big and expensive.

I just saw (and bought) my first Allagash Black Stout, and my tounge had an orgasm!

It was GREAT!

Great chocolate, Coffee, malt flavor, and nicely carbonated! Sad that it cost more Taddy's Famouse! ;)
