Conventions aside, the "correct" to pronounce a person's name is how they have elected to pronounce it. in situations where that person has lent his name to a product, such as the Moog Minimoog, the "correct" way is how the inventor (or at least the patent holder) chose to pronounce it.

but, I prefer the same pronunciation as you: "moo" plus the g.

@coniglius I prefer the pronunciation MOO with the G at the end, but it's not correct. I've known this for ages, but in musician circles so many people pronounce it incorrectly that you feel like an idiot unless you go along with them. Proof?

And each preset of the Minimax is tweakable by EVERY knob and switch.....so..versatility is SO good.

But again..I feel that the Minimax does NOT have the "rawness" of a minimoog.

Because I have a Korg Monopoly....and the sheer vintage analogue sound of it..with its intrinsic instability, makes THAT synth have a unique sound. John

Ty Peter..I have used your patch on my Creamware Minimax...and it sounds almost the same !! (to Wardka.).as I said.I have a Creamware Minimax ABS minimoog emulator.with the same knobs and switches as the real MiniMoog...and by using this patch.it sounds almost exactly the same as this video...Wow..The Minimax is better then i expected.

(plus it has 128 presets and up to 12 note polyphony.)

Of course .you will never get the FEEL/SOUND of a true vintage analog synth.but the Minimax is close
