This only makes it wide open only , DONT DO THIS , loosen the bolt on the governor twist stud in the middle one way or the other ( not very far at all !!!) tightn the bolt back up to prevent stud from twisting any furter. if desired speed is not achieved loosen and twist stud opposite direction . This will allow you to still use cart as was factory with slow or fast speed , NOT WIDE OPEN ALL THE TIME.

I have a 2007 Precedent Club Car and I can't figure out how to adjust the governor. I don't have the plastic plate in the same place as you. Please help. Please reply.

the zip ty is in the wrong place . It goes on the to small gov springs the one inside each other take the wire ty and put it thru the two springs not to tight just enough to keep the springs stretching this will work better then pulling the cable the way you have it I have mine tight so the springs dont stretch and I adj the stop under the pedal to keep it from over reving the motor and keeping the gov from coming in and out .you might have to make the stop a little longer .

Tks I did it and it is a lot faster. Cool video. The dealer told me not to do it, but I did it anyway, and it's a lot faster.

this does not work very well you need to pull of the ground on the rev box under the motor and than do this you will see much more speed trust me
-
god i love it when people over-explain what your looking at. You are now looking at a zip tie. That is this white thing right here, in my hands (which are here, at the end of my arms) and again this is the zip tie.

Just put a small zip tie on the small spring so the spring can't stretch, doing will double your speed, do not over rev you engine or it will blow up
-
This does not work, Just put a zip tie on the small spring so the small spring cannot stretch, this will let you go as fast as you want, mine did 15 mph now over 30 mpg

@JohnDiMartino STFU
This isnt adjusting the governor! All you are doing is sticking the throttle wide open.This is dangerous,if the microswitch ever stuck you couldnt control it.Also bad for the engine,as the throttle is always wide open,killing the spark,and dumping fuel into the engine is the only way to slow down.Do not do this if you care about your cart or your life....it isnt safe for the machine or driver/passenger.There are much better ways to get more speed AND have a working throttle....

@JohnDiMartino I realize this isnt the safest method. You don't tighten the zip tie very tight at all.
