I didn't think that Last Stand and Wolverine were bad. They did well in their own right.

@JemmetGK Yes, but after Singer left they weren't as exciting as the first two were. Last Stand and Origins had incredible action but very weak stories. I'm a person who enkoys a good story. First Class really got the series back on track. I hope X4 is good.

I didn't like killing off Professor X and Jean in Last Stand, but overall I thought the story was pretty well constructed...
I do think that if they used the first Wolverine comic miniseries it may have done better. But I think they did well with it's storyline. The characters were well represented and I believed the acting.
