Oh...I wasn't knocking your brownies, man. They look awesome! I've used applesauce as a substitute for a lot of things and they are really great. I just wanted to share my recipe, too, just in case someone didn't want to go buy a brownie mix. Most everyone has flour in their kitchen. Or maybe not. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I really do love all of your recipes and I appreciate the simpleness of them all! Keep em coming!!! ;)

This was an easy to make do vegan brownies for people who were getting into it. If you watched the video you would have seen that I promote a full organic made from scratch lifestyle, but I like to help the up and comers.
Thanks for your advice.

No...don't buy packaged brownie mix!!! Okay...well, you can if you want...but here's how I make brownies.
2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix all dry ingredients and then add all liquids; mix together and bake at 350 for 25 - 30 mins. Yummy!
You're awesome :P
I tried to make some the other week, wasn't so good. I'll be trying this though and hopefully they'll turn out better!

Just use the toothpick test and let them cool completely before cutting. :)
