I've decided to do my own reviews for the Doctor Who Classic range, starting with the Tenth Planet Cyberman. Sorry about the quality, my camera seems to be playing up a bit.

  • In general, with the Cybermen, I think that if one took off the face plate, one would see something akin to MOTU classics Triclops. That figure has the visor you can tilt up and see sensor plates implanted where his eyes used to be. Also MOTU Trapjaw has this horrific detail of his broken lower jaw under the metal jaw. I picture a combination of those two being under the Cybermen helmets.

  • O my God, I LOVE MOTU Classics!!! I have them all except for King Grayskull so far (I won't pay mad ebay prices). I agree, Cybermen should look gory and emaciated under their face plates just like the new Trap-Jaw's dismembered jaw (can't wait for him!)

  • Say....how is He-Ro and Scareglow? Those are two I am thinking of getting. Because, that custom Timelord hybrid character of mine would be made using a He-Ro.....customized of course. I also have a Character in mind to make using Scareglow and finding some Grim Reaper like robes for him. :)

  • Scareglow is fantastic! One of my favourites in fact! He-Ro is also very good, not one of my favourites but a very nice addition to the line.

  • I agree, I also felt these were the creepiest Cybermen. I actually liked their voice too. Making it sound more electronic in the Troughton era bugged me as a result. I sometimes had trouble understanding them which in the end was the main reason I hated it. But yeah, I wouldn't mind owning this. I'd like them to release a Wheels in Space Cyberman as well. I think they should of released an 80's Cyberman in the line rather than the TND Cyberman. Maybe that's just me.

  • I wish they had released an 80's Cyberman over the Next Doctor one as well. Its such a better design in my opinion and would look great in figure form.

  • You are an excellent reviewer and your Doctor Who Plastic Adventures are very entertaining too. I also like your voice :D!

Nice little anecdote about the sellotape! Again, entertaining and helpful!

  • I think it's funny how you own a cyberman :)

  • In fairness the original Cybermen were a bit stiff too if you watch the episodes :P

  • Nice review! I agree. I like these Cybermen with their "zombie" feel. lol Much creepier than a brain in a suit and more like the Borg from Star Trek.

  • @TylerCharlesFisher LOL that's what Tom Baker would of said LOL! I am putting your comment a thumbs up!!!

  • i agree, the new cybermen are just stupid. its scary about them that they look at you with and angry face, but it's scaryer if the cyberman was to just stair at you. its a shame they destroyed that feeling to the cybermen with this new vertion...

  • matt smith as a cyberman

  • "as you can see, mine's a bit stiff" lol.

  • I am currently willing to see this figure, so please contact me with your price!
