Fair Use Rights The 1961 Report of the Register of Copyrights on the General Revision of the U.S. Copyright Law cites examples of activities that courts have regarded as fair use: quotation of excerpts in a review or criticism for purposes of illustration or comment; quotation of short passages in a scholarly or technical work, for illustration or clarification of the authors observations; use in a parody of some of the content of the work parodied; summary of an address or article, with brief quotations, in a news report; reproduction by a library of a portion of a work to replace part of a damaged copy; reproduction by a teacher or student of a small part of a work to illustrate a lesson; reproduction of a work in legislative or judicial proceedings or reports; incidental and fortuitous reproduction, in a newsreel or broadcast, of a work located in the scene of an event being reported.

  • i'm too sexy for my job, too sexy for my job...

  • Having worked in finance most of my life I can bet that this is what happened.

The women in her office, not the men, were complaining.

While the men may not have been the ones complaining, they sure as hell had a hard time staying focused on their own work with her nearby.

If she had clients, they were probably thinking of how they were going to get her to join them on vacation in Europe, not whatever financial services or instruments she was selling.

  • @getplaning I agree I bet it was the women...fat, ugly, old, and full of hate.

  • @mphello Hint: The ones that you say are citibank employees or officials or bosses who wanted to bang her and she refused! ;-)

  • @Coolyfett Because she was fired without any reasonable reason!

  • @drvertigo This is exactly why capitalism fails. And why people have every right to enact pro-socialist laws if they want. If capitalist corporations don't like socialist laws, then they should get the hell out of the country.

  • @megeles Finally, somebody on this thread makes sense.

  • Bunch of fucking retards on this thread who think the employer is always right.

The never bother to check the facts or evidence.

  • @venticyanide The law says she has the right to file a lawsuit. Regardless whether it wins or not. That's what the law is there for.

  • @lordviperscorpion69 Just as long as they required ALL workers to do the same.

  • Who cares if Citybank has to pay? It's not their money anyway. The money will come from the interests generated by credits debtors.
