look all stop replying to HardCoreProgrammer1 from his comments and the vids on his channel, he hasn`t got anything to back himself up. let trolls troll, commenting back to him will make him feel as though he`s right, now ofc if he can provide videos and proof that he wrote games which back up his claims fair enough, but the stuff on his channel could be done in game maker

if my stuff are shite. show me a better program that you made?
-
@HardCoreProgrammer1 haha u nutcase. running around critcizing other peoples projects when your own stuff is shite. What planet are you on.
-
Thats exactly my point?
So how do u explain all the basic games that you have? i can make a start screen in winform too. And apart from the 3rd graphics, I can generate an enemy chasing and attacking you, and the other things presented in this and other of your vids. If you studied maths at uni, why isnt that project in a context of maths and physics. Why i dont see a physics engine, but some simple crap algorithms a teen can come up with?

@HardCoreProgrammer1 Programming WinForms and programming in XNA is like comparing cycling a bike to flying an aeroplane. And you don't learn "android", you learn Java which you can deploy onto Android devices.
-
If you have been programming since 12 years of age, you wouldnt need a degree, you would have a job.. Everything u show is bollocks. i dont need XNA to produce what you produced. I only programmed on winforms for 2 months, now i am building a site using asp.net -Forum.
(i was also meant to learn Android, but i think i will put it off for a year or two)
Where did you go to college and where do you plan on getting your masters?
Also right now I'm tackling Game Maker 8 and building up a basic portfolio, I've already done: Visual Basic, Python, BlitzBasic, C++, and now GML. I'm also learning PHP,XML,JavaSript on the side since I know HTML/CSS already. Where should I go once I master Game Maker? I'm thinking either XNA or Unreal Engine (I want to be a Gameplay or UI programmer in the future.)

@TheDarthNefarian I did my undergrad at Letterkenny I.T and my masters at Trinity College Dublin. I would recommend the Unreal Engine, experience using any engine looks great on a portfolio, and experience using an industry engine looks REALLY great! Good luck!

@iDariaus how did you get a 3d sprite in a 2d game?
jw3st0n 6 months ago
@jw3st0n I created and animated the character in a 3D modelling program, I took multiple renders of the animations from different perspectives and then I put them all in sprite sheet.

it remained me the first time when i played the Metal Gear Solid lol , I want to know is that game is a three dimensional ?
MrAgentgamer 1 year ago
@MrAgentgamer
It is all two dimensional. But because of the faked third dimension, I think its called 2.5D. And actually MGS was kind of my inspiration!
