Elton John makes an appearance on a European Variety Show in the late 80's. It's obvious he's lip-synching, something he claims to abhor, but this is still a rare piece of footage.

Was it recorded before, or, after Sir Reg had his throat surgery. The surgery turned him into a baritone, from a tenor. Sir Elton hit #2 in Billboard, 8-27-88. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

He did this on purpose in order to make it obvious he is not singing. He doesn't want his public to think that they can't see the difference!!!
