You don't need my Christmas cards
You already have my heart
This has been a holiday romance
Right from the very start
For we know how to spend the time
Who cares about the weather?
We'll dance in the town 'til the sun goes down
And then push our beds together
From the Land of the Midnight Sunglasses
To the Mountains of the Moon
You could never stay a day too long, no
Or never come back too soon
For we know how to spend the time
Who cares about the weather?
We'll dance in the town 'til the sun goes down
And push our beds together
And you know what a fool I am
With my short attention span
Flying in the rainy season too,
Nothing can keep me away from you
We know how to spend the time
Who cares about the weather?
We'll dance in the town 'til the sun goes down
And push our beds together.
Did something happen and this had to be taken down? I can't find it in my "Liked" video list and now I've just noticed it only has 910 views... Mental. This particular recording of this song is one of my favourite things to listen to. First heard it on John Peel just after it had been recorded I guess. Thanks for posting it up.

Thank-you for posting this. Some wanker stole the CD I had with this song on it years ago from my mini-van. I've lived in both Ontario and Quebec and I've been looking for this tune on youtube for years. What a great love-song/metaphor for relationships and Canada / Quebec relations. Merci
