Ever wondered what's on someone else's Medium Wave dial - well here's what's on mine in Northern Ireland.

A tune around at sunset 23-8-08

The Radio is a JRC NRD545 communications receiver - antenna is a sloping wire about 80 feet long.

First of four.

  • I don't get it. What are you doing?

  • 540 khz yeah

  • Can you get Manx Radio from the I.O.M in 1368kHz(219m) MW? Worth a try after dark. It transmits from Foxdale I.O.M. at a power of 20kW erp and is received best over N Wales coast/Merseyside/Lancashire coast/South and West Cumbria/South West Scotland and parts of the Irish Sea coast of the ROI and NI.

  • I love your radio set up.Very impressed with the reception from as far away as Canada and Mexico too!! Was it expensive?

  • I *LOVE* your radio! :D

    ~Cindy! :)
