FAT. BLACK. WOMEN: Why are we so fat? (Pt. 1)

Unfortunately, a lot of black people are still brainwashed with the mentality instilled during slavery that places value on "bigger."
Here we are, hundreds of years later, and ghetto-thinking blacks STILL can't let go of that old, outdated mentality, even in the face of all the information we have of how damaging it is to us.
Every other group understands the correlation between living a healthy lifestyle and better health. Black folks still talking about, "I like em thick."
Unreal.

Why are so many white women fat?! Fat means unhealthy. I hate fat on women outside what is considered healthy. DOWN WITH FAT, I'LL GO WITH THAT!

@PresidentOfTheBlack I HAVE TO DISAGREE WITH YOU HERE!!!!!!!! One thing is having a LITTLE extra padding and keeping a shapely and HEALTHY body. Another is having excess weight think Gabora Sidibey or Monique, or, well me. Yes, I have a shape, but YES, even more than 20lbs slimmer from when i made this video, I am overweight. I happen to see it as a problem for me. Men will honk and stare, but i will know I'm not satisfied with myself. Some BW don't see a problem with fat if they have a booty.

@KollegeGirl13 Yes, it is a global epidemic. Even in the Middle East, one of the countries there have overtaken us as the fattest population in the world.
I made this video about black AMERICAN women because I am one. I can only speak about what I know first hand.

@keyhyundai meat (fish, chicken) and steamed veggies makes up the majority of my diet. and fruits and protein shakes around the times i work out...
i agree 100%. the rest is SOOOOOOOOO unnecessary.

@Lostrocker yep my weight in this video was 223. im now down to 200, but i got down to 190 in the late part of last year, but slacked off.
it's a life long struggle i guess.

@scrawnyscrub2 thanks for the compliment! I appreciate it. And I agree about your assessments of the south. just take a trip to walmart and you'll see every other person is not only overweight, but massively overweight, buying processed junk.
I'm only NOW becoming a nutrition nazi and seeing my body change the way i want it to. americans have been had! conditioned to eat junk food like substances. its sad, and some people just don't know there's anything even wrong!
You seem so smart. It really shows through in your video, I can just tell. Black women right now live in a culture that is very American in the sense of fast food, over eating and plain ol' not givin a F. On the other hand, Black culture plays a part into having women feel as if "thick" and "obese" are interchangeable and that having a big butt is the most important attribute on a woman. I think people like you are the cure, because you talk about it and offer advice.

@anythingisplenty Thanks so much for the compliment! Yes, there is so much misinformation out there and it's almost understandable that so many people are confused. but the counter to that is that there is always that thing called common sense. lol. too many of us aren't using that. There are many OTHER variables besides the ones i mentioned, but personal choice is what it boils down to. too many are making the wrong ones.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to check out and or share my blog!
