This is a live acoustic version of one of our tracks from our album (coming out some day...). This was our third take (the first one I messed up a chord pretty big time, and the second time she started singing a bit too early on the first chorus). The original track has more guitars, drums, and bass, but this gives you a pretty good idea of what it sounds like.

Sorry for the bad video quality, I don't [yet] have a decent camcorder, and I used my Canon PowerShot in 320x240@30fps mode. I use it usually and forgot that there was a 640x480@12fps (or 15fps, I forget) mode that woulda made the picture a bit clearer. If you don't like it, close the window. We don't need your negativity. Plus, my wife didn't even want to be filmed anyhow, so she's happy that the quality is bad. Heh.

About Us: RIVIR is a husband & wife duo. The husband composes the music, and the wife adds vocals (and she's learning drums, too). Their genre has varied greatly from hardcore metal, to industrial, to soft rock, and eventually settled upon a mix of grungy rock metal. They have been compared with Neil Young, Pulley, Presidents of the United States of America, Nirvana, and the Meat Puppets.

  • This is amazing. The way you sing and your incredible lyrics, intertwined with the dirty acoustic is mind blowing. Can I grab the Tabs, I'd love to play it. Thanks for this song! Youre amazing Sarah

  • @mwigsy14 thanks for the compliments! here are the chords:

    verse: G#5 B5 E5 F#5

    chorus: G#5 E5 G#5 E3 G#5 E5 F#5 G#5

  • Sounds really great, Love her voice and the acoustic guitar blends so well with her vocals.

    Love to her more.

As for the video, I would look into getting some help in that area.

otherwise keep up the great work you guys.

  • Hey scooby,

Thanks for checking it out, and for the comment. :)

This was shot with a Canon PowerShot.. I don't need help, I need a proper HD camcorder. In related news, I am taking donations.... ;)
