Pulseman enters the casino seen at the end of my last video and it's loaded with terrifically loud flashing colors just as expected! Early on I'm slightly baffled by a green sphere with a lightning symbol on it, and a little later comes a maze section with loads of bouncing Volt Tackle fun. Just when I'm about to end the maze, I head back because of the nagging feeling that I missed some cool item or other, but when I don't find anything in an unexplored area I move on. The next section, on the other hand, has two escape routes: a clear path out and an "In" monitor.
I head for the monitor, expecting another virtual world like in stage one, but find what seems to be a death trap and have to trial-and-error my way out of it.
The boss is kind of pitiful compared to his own incarnation before the stage began, but I guess that's what you get when your machine's already been busted once in the past fifteen minutes and you're running on reserve power.
