McQuarrie Creek Hiking is a very popular hiking trail in the Greater Trail area. The easy to moderate hike can be accessed by driving up the road to the regional hospital in Trail BC. The hike is an easy route up and down the lush green surroundings in the McQuarrie Creek spring runoff gorge, and when you get to the top you can view the Greater Trail BC area and the lower Columbia River Valley as well as the mountain ranges and ski hills in the Rossland area. This 2 hour hike is a favorite of locals and tourists, and connects to hiking trails that head towards Sunningdale along the rock cliff bluffs. Bring water and have lunch at the viewpoint.
