  • You're lucky to get no one up there with you! Climbed it last Monday and there was like 100 people around the summit! Annoying for photos!

  • @Pikey72 You've got to get up there early in the morning!

  • Hello, thanks for the nice video! I was up there yesterday. The rain was horizontal and visibility about 50m. I missed a great view!!!

  • @nigelmtb Hope you have better luck with the view next time!

  • Try driving and winching up to the top in a 4x4 at night in the pitch black with gail-force winds and hail at -2 degrees. Please feel free to comment on it! Go search 4x4 Snowdon on Youtube and the relative x2 part story for the truth of the facade.... Then leave your comment on PUBLIC VOTE. enjoy :)

  • I hope the person saying that the train is a nanny assisted way to see the summit never becomes disabled or unfit ! I climbed mount Snowdon in 1976,it was wonderful, but i was fit then. I can no longer walk that far,so the train is the only way i can experience the magic of Snowdon.i also appreciate the cafe too as a nice cuppa while taking in the awesome views is very welcome.Mount Snowdon is for everyone to enjoy,i am just sad that i cannot see Ben Nevis in the same way.

  • I went on the railway to the top 2 years ago, Was roasting down the botom but freezing at the top. Was beautiful though, couldnt believe there is a pub/restaraunt at the top as well.

  • @Pikey72 yea,,the fact theres a train that goes to the summit doesnt help ether..when you climb a mountain like this, you wana feel a sense of achievement not the fact theres parents walking around with there kids eating ice creams..it really does spoil the whole point in climbing it..so glad ben nevis doesnt have any nannying assists to the top :)

  • My family and I were there Saturday midday in honor of our mother who came from Denbigh. We started off in sunshine, on the train, but at the summit we were nearly knocked off our feet, and it was FREEZING! but the experience was awesome. Two of my sons and brother-in-law walked down. Excellent.

  • was there yesterday but it was in cloud

  • We did the climb last Saturday and sadly missed these fantastic views. The weather was pretty shitty. Definitely want to do it again in better conditions.

  • Climbed Snowdon 2 years ago. That place is awesome :)

  • It's a great place...the roof of Wales....Check out the song "The Snowdon Mountain Railway Don Woods"....on youtube...it says it all
