@skanthavelu The same actor,Sterling Holloway, gave his voice to Kaa and Winnie the Pooh,amongst others.
I am not sure about the original Kaa, and his motives in the book as i never read it.I think that this film is only loosely based on the original stories.Kaa is a python so i guess he was seen as a threat.

The Kaa in this movie sounds like Winnie the Pooh. Unlike in the anime series based on Jungle Book in which Kaa is a good guy, here, Kaa is shown as a bad guy bent on eating Mowgli. I wonder why? What Kaa like that in the original Jungle book?
