Hart, ACFRE, ePMT is one of the foremost experts in both online and traditional fundraising in the world. He is CEO of Hart Philanthropic Services, an international consultancy to nonprofits/NGOs, and is founder of the ePhilanthropy Foundation, the global leader in providing training to charities for the ethical and efficient use of the Internet for philanthropic purposes.
He inspired the creation of People to People Fundraising and has helped nonprofits become more green as the founder of the Green Nonprofits movement. He served as CEO of the University Maryland Medical System Foundation and as Chief Development Officer for Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He is an Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) and an ePhilanthropy Master Trainer (ePMT) through the ePhilanthropy Foundation.
He has presented 20 workshops at AFP International conferences, served on their board of directors and as treasurer of the AFP Foundation.
He has published several articles and is the author of four books related to fundraising, ePhilanthropy and social networking.
