This has taken me a few hours, and I'm glad it's over. I have transposed the music from the Guild Wars 2 Epic Struggle video into MIDI & Scoresheet. Everything was done by ear. Thanks and enjoy my video.

  • I'm sorry, I'm not pro at all, but some tones are just impossible to play, for instance @0:18, how the fuck I do? Otherwise good job

  • @FlorentChif Just play the left hand on the next octave up, I only did it this way to get more range and motion in the Piano.

  • Did you really do this by ear? Because honestly, if you listen to it, don't you feel it's quite a bit off? The first two chords sound fine, but the third chord is definitely wrong. Same for the next section. This song starts with the chord progression vi, IV, V, ii (last one is quite variable), then later on moves on to a variant IV, vi, V, ii, and then later on comes back to the first variant.

You did a great job but the chords definitely do not match what the original composer intended.

  • @hpmv Yeah it's not perfect man, its most likely on a different key note, but majority of the chords I believe sound right besides a few. Thanks

  • How do you know that the name of the song is Epic Struggle? Do you have a source? I have been looking for the name of this song :p

  • @ABabyPenguin I don't think there is an official name yet, I just went by the name of the Official Guild Wars 2 trailer video

  • Dude thats all wrong!!! Not trying to troll here, but i think that you should have put mo effort to that amazing song, because you change octaves all the time... Try harder, be a tryhard, and some day succeed. All the luck and such to you:)

  • @FlorentChif Actually my hands can do a bigger stretch than one octave (I think two or two and a half tones up).

It wouldn't be very comfortable to play, but it is possible.

  • @TheBassAvenger Ok I see :D

  • Jeremy Soule, my favorite composer. He also composed the music of many other games and even some movies!

  • wow that sheet music is bad...

its in c minor /Eb maj and its 3,4 time not common....

    im just saying

  • Nice work. What kind of VSTI did you use for the piano? It sounds incredible.

  • if i get 10 thumbs up i'll make a dubstep remix of this. will deliver
