Ringo is the best songwriters drummer of all time. Tasteful & sympathetic. In later years when asked was Ringo the best drummer in the world, John joked "He wasn't even the best in the Beatles". This throwaway line is a more popular one with fools who think Ringo was "lucky" than the one John used to all his session men in the 70's when they just could not "get" where he was coming from. "Why can't you just play it like Ringo". I guess you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone.

RIngo's drumming is SOOO integral to the beatles.
they wouldn't sound the same without it. and octopuses garden is amazing. so stop dissing the guy.
