Tennessee State Fight Song

FS #159; FSV 148.
In honor of Oprah Winfrey's final season on The Oprah Show, I decided to go ahead and honor her long career on her talk show and her time on Nashville TV news station WLAC TV (now WTVF CBS Channel 5) as being the first and youngest black to be anchor. I know that it can be overdue, but I wish her happy retirement with her alma mater's fight song. Her final show aired on May 25, 2011.

The Tigers of the Upper South are part of the Ohio Valley Conference. Yes, simple but recognizable. This fight song would say to some that the admissions department had said, "Yes, come in!" to the chipper students that applied. I know, it could be on of the out-of-nowhere choice, last choice, or only choice compared to the other recognizable schools in America, but one must feel that s/he has to take the opportunity to attend higher education in any place. So I say to the students, in the only state funded historically black college in Nashville, "Good idea making this fight song."
