薔薇之戀 was recorded in 1960 - 61 as Mandarin; it was originally sung by either 尹芳玲 (Hong Kong) or 麥韻 (Taiwan). In 1962, 薔薇之戀 was readapted into Cantonese. 尤雅 recorded this song in 1976. Lyrics by 周聰, composed by 鄺天培.

I estimate this particular version was recorded c.1970. Since the movie 薔薇之戀 was made in 1962, and in the movie the participating star was 白露明, I figure that the original singer was also 白露明。 As far as I know, 麥韻 sang it in c.1965, and 尹芳玲 in 1969.
