Oldskool Moomins keeping it real!!!!!! Shits all over the crap cartoons... Seem to remember it being proper trippy and every now and then a moody Moomin would turn up and shit would get real dark.

What original Scandinavian version? It is Polish (eh, the Slavic Vikings we Poles are). So maybe you meant - original Polish version.

In case you ware pondering upon what a butt-kicking nation might have made the Barnaby Bear animations... guess what, that's we again (though the story again was of foreign provenance).

A Swedish friend of mine showed me the original comics, and they're actually dark as FUCK in places. I never knew.

Well, it was first broadcast in the UK in 1983, but I think the original Scandanavian version was probably in th 1970s

They were at their original best in stop-motion - and the old books were awesome! There is a Moomins Cookbook on Amazon too.
