Miami Dolphins 2012 Preview: Can Fins Repeat Bizarre Road Success with Ryan Tannehill at QB?

The Miami Dolphins fanbase is naturally optimistic. First round draft pick Ryan Tannehill has looked great so far in the preseason. So good, in fact, that new head coach Joe Philbin donned him the team's Week 1 starter on Monday of this week.

The Dolphins figure to be competitive, particularly on defense where they proved to be quite tough in the second half of the 2011 season. But can Miami win on the road with a young QB like Tannehill? Kevin Nogle of The Phinsider takes a look at three of the most pivotal and tough road tests will be for a Dolphins squad looking to make a big leap in 2012 and beyond.

I would love the Dolphins to be 8-7, but that seems overly optimistic at best. I think we will be doing well if we can get 6 wins this year with Tannehill and our jumble of mediocre receivers. Hopefully though, we can turn those new draft picks into some playmakers for us.
