Noo. viper's remark was made from a popcul perspective. The literature could've been (has been, and still often is) Schoenberg.

Coming largely from a popcul background, I had similar mis-conceptions/mis-programmings, and was righted about things when I studied music.

  • @aculturemind Without judging both sides, Gondwana came out in 1980, so I think his argument was valid from his point of view...

  • So marvellous!

No. The 'horror track' sounds like *this*. This stuff came first, without such program. History, yo.

  • Very cool. Me gusta.

  • Such beautiful music!!!

  • Oh my. This is gorgeous. I've just recently discovered Murail and I am captivated by his music that I've heard so far.

  • To be honest it just sounds like some horror film soundtrack to me.
